My brother and his gf recommended this place and on our way home from shopping at the Cabazon outlets we hit it up. The place was packed but it was a weekend so I expected it. Julie and I snagged a booth while my brother finished waiting in line and ordered. He got us a sampler type tray since it was my first time so I got a taste of everything really. Some standouts were the crispy fried pickles- seriously some of the best I've ever had, I think they're dusted in cornmeal to keep the crunch. I really liked the pull pork as well. We had a smattering of other things and for the 3 of us my brother also ordered some extra wings. Wings are my fav food ever and these were phenomenal. I want to bring my husband here if we are back up this way another weekend. The place was small but high volume as the people came, tables turned and more bbq was ordered. They have some outdoor seating as well but I am glad we got a booth inside bc I'm from San Diego and a wimp with heat.

I went for lunch with a friend and we both got the Hoagie sandwich with fries. It was pretty good! The Pastrami is sliced cut and not shredded like most sandwich places are that sale Pastrami sandwiches. Not dry either! Also, on Fridays is their St. Louis Ribs special. That's for my next visit to try! They also are used quite alot for catering services. I know many of you have used them in the past to cater your event. Good stuff! The last pic was from my prior visit with some friends. We ordered and shared what's on their BBQ Party Packages (catering for 3 - 4 people), The Wild Card. Below it has: 1/2 lbs of Prime Brisket (sliced) 1/2 lbs chicken or 1/2 lbs Pulled Pork or Hot Links 1/2 Rack of Baby Back Ribs (cut in 2's) Choice of 2 quarts from signature sides 6 piece corn bread 6 oz. Each Memphis & Habanero/Chipotle BBQ Sauce Can order ahead of time and pickup OR eat there!

A coworker of mine mentioned that Badlands recently ranked in the top twenty of barbecue places in the nation so here I am. I purposefully did not look at the menu before coming (like I normally do) so I can get the entire experience. The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to an AT&T store. I could smell the barbecue from outside as I walked to the restaurant. Christian was helpful. I explained that it was my first time so he throughly reviewed the menu with me. He was super friendly and cordial. I told him that I wanted leftovers for lunch the next day so he recommended the double trouble. Double trouble comes with two six ounce cuts of meat, two sides and one cornbread. I selected brisket and baby back ribs for my meats along with premium sides of jalapeño bacon mac and cheese and bbq brisket beans. Baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender. So flavorful and juicy. If you are worried about getting the bbq sauce all over your mouth and cheeks as you eat the ribs, fear not. The meat will fall off the bone and you can still be dainty and not get it everywhere. The Mac and cheese was creamy and just a ting of spice enough to give in flavor but wasn't hot. The beans were bbqy with chunks of brisket. Very rich. I am used to beans being more sweet than savory. These were excellent. Sauce was on the thicker side like I like it. The Cornbread is more of the consistency of a cake than cornbread I am used to. Didn't have any pieces of corn. I got the corner piece so it was a little tougher than I wanted. There are several beers on tap as well as a good selection of bottles. There is a saloon adjacent to the restaurant but the bartender has limited hours so you don't come in the weekend you won't be able to order from it. Sadness. There are no bibs so I tucked the paper towels into my shirt so I wouldn't end up wearing it. You order at the counter and are given a number, then the food is brought to your table. I appreciated the super comfortable bench seats with a step up so your feet don't dangle. Rock music from 80s and 90s is playing in the background that you can hear it but not loud enough that you can't talk to your friends. I had a good experience and look forward to trying more items.

Amazing BBQ spot! Been here a couple times and we always get the two meat combo, a kids meal and an appetizer or two. The pulled pork and brisket were bomb. The Friday special for ribs they had were good too. The entree comes with 2 sides of choice - jalapeño bacon mac'n cheese, bbq beans, fries, cornbread, salad, can't really go wrong with anything. The nachos were good, just missing some guac and if it was a little less sweet it would've been perfect. The wings were tasty and sauced with a smokey flavor in each bite. Literally everything has been delicious so far with a good variety of beers on draft. A cold one definitely pairs well with the bomb food and chill vibes. IT'S LIT!

Come hungry! I've had this place bookmarked for years but as I never get to Norco it's taken me awhile to eat here. I tried dinner on a weeknight. It has that casual, rustic-wood, BBQ joint look and the smell of smoke is in the air. You order at the counter where you are given a number and your food is delivered to your table inside or, if you choose to sit at one of a handful of picnic tables, outside. I ordered a brisket plate which comes with a choice of two sides and cornbread. I picked potato salad and baked beans as my sides. The place was busy but staff were all friendly and upbeat. It took about ten minutes for my food to be delivered. The three sizable slices of brisket were excellent; smokey, tender, moist, and flavorful. They needed no bbq sauce but I did try a few bites with the delicious Memphis sauce from a tray on the counter where I sat. The beans were incredible, slightly sweet with a hunk of fatty brisket swimming in the middle of the cup providing amazing flavor. The potato salad was also superb. The mayo and mustard combo along with the bacon bits sprinkled on top made this a winner. There were also onions in the potato salad which I didn't care for in the mix (just a personal preference) but they were easily removed. The cornbread was good, not crumbly nor moist but a good balance for the rest of the food on the tray. Badlands is located in a large plaza so there is plenty of parking and it is easily accessed as it is located just a block off the 15 freeway.

My friends and I had done a tour of monuments around the Norco area, and our leader chose this place as our lunch destination for the day. When we got there, the place was busy. No surprise, considering it was a Sunday. They had a TV on, but you couldn't hear it, unless you were up close. The place has a fast food joint-type feel, but they make your food to order, like a restaurant. I ordered the Chop House Burger, Medium Rare, with a side of macaroni salad. In the meantime, the picnic benches give the feel like you are going to get your hands, and face, stained with bbq sauce, which isn't such a bad thing, if you think about it. The place is decorated with vintage tin art, mostly Coca-Cola, which gives the place a vintage feel. I eventually got my order. I bit into the burger, and it was the juiciest burger I've ever eaten. Small chunks of brisket only served to enhance the taste of the burger. The temperature was just right, which tells me it got enough time to cool down to where it wouldn't burn my tongue. The macaroni salad was delish, as well. My suggestion: give people the option of doing a double, or even, a triple patty! If you're ever in Northern Corona, aka, Norco, give this place a go! I'm tempted to drive up to this place just for the burger!

This place made a Yelp list of best bbq -- quite an honor! I swung by for a late lunch and was greeted by friendly staff. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a bbq place -- rustic, whimsical, with music by Eagles' and similar artists. The food is top notch. I LOVE brisket and I made my way here in hopes that it wouldn't be sold out. Heritage might(?) have a better brisket but this one was excellent(!) and the price point was much better than Heritage. For $21 I had the brisket and two sides plus cornbread. The same meal at Heritage is close to double that. Worse yet, Heritage has a horrible sun-scorched queue and no parking. As a result, Badlands is my new favorite BBQ restaurant. The jalapeño mac n cheese was great -- loved the little crispy crumbles on top. Baked beans were good, but predictably sweet. I've never found cornbread to be all that great and this didn't change my mind. I loved the Memphis sauce, but the habanero sauce was not spicy at all. I came hungry and almost couldn't finish my plate. Almost!!! This place is top notch and I will be hitting this place again soon! Thank you guys so much for a wonderful visit!

Highly recommend. The meat was delicious. There's so many sauces to choose from and extra habanero and Memphis BBQ sauce on each table. The fries were those extra coated and crispy ones. The potato salad was topped with bacon bits, fresh green onion, and a slice of hard boiled egg; I couldn't believe how delicious the potato salad was The chicken wings were delicious. I thought the chicken drumsticks were a tad dry but the wings were well cooked and delicious.

Recommended by coworkers is Badlands BBQ in Norco, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. This place is a hidden gem when it comes to outstanding barbecue options. One of the highlights of my order was the Big Daddy Sampler. This mouthwatering platter came with an impressive variety of BBQ favorites, including 4 rib bones, 1/4 lb of brisket, pulled pork, hot link, 4 wings, onion straws, and fried pickles. Each item was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and making my taste buds dance with delight. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, with a delectable smoky flavor that left me craving for more. The brisket was juicy and packed with irresistible smokiness, while the pulled pork was succulent and melted in my mouth. The hot links had just the right amount of spiciness, adding an extra kick to the meal. The wings were wonderfully crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, smothered in a finger-licking sauce that had the perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness. To complete this already incredible feast, the Big Daddy Sampler also included a generous serving of onion straws and fried pickles. These sides were crispy, flavorful, and added an extra dimension of texture and taste to the meal. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients at Badlands Barbecue is truly impressive. From the first bite to the last, it was evident that their dishes are crafted with passion and care. The flavors were rich and robust, leaving me completely satisfied and eager to order from here again. In addition to the outstanding food, the ordering process over the phone was simple and efficient. The staff members were friendly and helpful, ensuring that my order was accurate and ready for pickup at the designated time. This made it incredibly convenient for me to enjoy their delicious BBQ at home or on the go. If you're in the mood for some incredible barbecue, I highly recommend giving Badlands BBQ in Norco a try. Whether you're ordering for lunch or dinner, their extensive menu and mouthwatering dishes are sure to satisfy your cravings. With their excellent food and efficient service, it's no wonder why my coworkers and I frequently choose to order from here.
